The next steps to visa liberalization

1 January 2010, it is the date on which the first citizens of Western Balkans should be able to travel free of visa throughout the EU. Yet, it looks as if not all countries in the region will make it to the "White List" by the end of the year and for those who qualify, there are still some decisive steps along the way. For Alexandra Stigelmayer, it is crucial that a vast majority of Member States support the lifting of restrictions.
