Are social medias such as Facebook, Twitter or blogs, a powerful way to raise the voters' interest? Participation consistently decreases since 1979, could the campaign be failing to reach out, especially to the younger voters? A recent survey on the MEPs presence on the web shows that they do not take full advantage of these digital networks when the average EU citizen spends about some 9 hours per week online. Time to reach out for the on-line electorate?
