Workers' mobility: A Million jobs beyond border?

In today’s challenging circumstances, a flexible and mobile labour market is a key instrument for tackling the financial crisis. Moreover, in some European countries, population is aging rapidly, so young foreign workers are all the more needed. However, if the principle of free movement of people dates back to the creation of the European Community, concrete practical difficulties and a fair amount of uncertainties still hinder the exercise of this freedom.
