Extraordinary Summit
on the new EU "Top Jobs"
According the Lisbon Treaty, which is to come into force on December 1st, two new positions are to be created in the EU institutionnal landscape: Council President and Council Vice-President (or High representative for the European External Action Service). On Thursday 19 November, Member States are expected to disclose the chosen candidates for these two new high profile functions.
