BiH Must Reform its Constitution


Currently gathered for its Spring plenary session (26-30 avril), the Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) decided to hold a debate on the pressing need to proceed with constitutional reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 29. Kimmo Sasi (Finland, EPP/CD), co-rapporteur of the PACE on Bosnia and Herzegovina, urged the Assembly on Monday to organise a debate under the urgent procedure during this session following his fact-finding mission to Sarajevo on 12-13 April and the recent judgment delievered by the European Court of Human Rights in the case Sejdić and Finci v. Bosnia and Herzegovina.
