TV Hayat is a privately-owned TV station, which started in 1992. Its coverage is over 1.5 million people in Bosnia, numerous cable subscribers in the neighbouring countries, and satellite viewers.

Adnan Rondic is a host and an editor of "Povratak" ("Return") and "Domovina koju volim" ("The country I love") and has been with TV Hayat since it was founded in 1992. He was a visiting journalist in Brussels in March 2009. Some of the topics he covered during his stay:

• Interview with BIH Ambassador to the EU;

• Economic crisis and EU Enlargement process;

“Given the increasing demand for reports on EU integration in my TV and the fact that this demand will only grow in the future, this was an excellent opportunity to see things on the spot, establish contacts in Brussels, check how the TV production functions in Brussels and learn about audiovisual services of the EU institutions.

One of the most valuable aspects of my stay was the making of relevant contacts – this can facilitate further work and acquiring of timely information. These newly established contacts will certainly be helpful for the future.”
